The hotel is near shops and a beach. The departure time at midday suited my evening flight. I appreciated that there was free parking available. The hotel location allows exploring the Algarve with a rental car.
The walls had some rusty spots. I also noticed some ants in the bedroom. The couch was in poor condition so I did not use it.

The location is convenient. It was close to the beach. Staff were friendly. I enjoyed breakfast at the hotel (especially the pastries!).
The hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. The room I got barely fit my needs. The indoor pool seemed deserted and was a slip hazard. There were no warning signs around.

i found the room quite OLD. furniture looked used. THE BATHROOM had some maintenance issues, like a leaky faucet and some chipped tiles. plus, the noise from other rooms Was REALLY bad.

I found the hotel to be a good value for the money. The free shuttle to town was handy, and I enjoyed the direct beach access via the trail (it saved me time!). The hotel organized activities throughout the day, a nice option to have. The location was a definite highlight for me.
I noticed that the rooms could use some updating. While clean, the furniture felt a bit old.
